When Pearl’s owner Chris adopted her from a working gundog farm at 5 months old, he was told she didn’t have what it takes to make it in the field.
With Pearl being a working line Lab, born and bred to retrieve game, Chris took Pearl and together they attended gundog lessons, gaining two qualifications and earning Pearl her official gundog status!
She stuck up a big middle toe bean to those who ever doubted her!
As if Pearl couldn’t be anymore badass, she sustained an injury last year that resulted in her losing a toe! Does that stop her? Absolutely not!
It was such a pleasure to meet Pearl and spend time with her, her adorable brother Albus and her lovely family at one of my favourite locations, Entwistle Reservoir.
